Yes, Star Jones Reynolds and her husband love to bask in the South Florida sun — the couple is reportedly looking to make Miami their second home. So what does she love about Miami?

Here is the transplanted New Yorker’s top five.

The Miami Heat. A longtime New York Knicks fan, Star admits that she never thought

that she could love another team. But Star, often seen in the stands

sitting next to Shaunie O’Neal or Tracy Mourning, says “I feel passionate about the Heat.”

The Delano. “It has the single best pool in the United States,” she says. “It’s warm all of the time.”

New Birth Baptist Church Cathedral of Faith International. Yes, the celebrity who will soon be on Court TV this fall has discovered this popular Opa-locka church. This church is reknown for its dynamic preacher, NAACP President Bishop Victor T. Curry, as well as the young professional blacks it attracts, including some who go straight from the night clubs to the morning service.

Oceanaire Seafood Room restaurant in Mary Brickell Village. In fact, the entire neighborhood and its energy stacks high on Star’s favorite list.

Our community spirit. Even when she is just shopping at Publix, Star says Miamians come up and just say “hi.”
