September is National Yoga Month

Ah, September. With you comes the genesis of Fall, the NFL season kick-off and school bells ringing. It’s also a time for yogis to celebrate as September is National Yoga Month. Designed to educate all about the health benefits of yoga and to inspire a healthy lifestyle, a spate of South Florida studios are taking part in the OM-mazing month.

Spa at Turnberry Isle Miami: In celebration of National Yoga Month, the Spa at Turnberry Isle Miami will be opening its 3,650 square-foot, state-of-the-art fitness facility to the locals. In combination with September Wellness Month and its discounted $99 treatments, whenever a service is booked, guests are given complimentary access to a yoga class. 19999 W. Green Monkey:  In an effort to support our local community, Green Monkey asking all yoga lovers to participate in their month-long food drive. Collection bins in each of their locations (Coral Gables, Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale) will be collecting goods for Feeding South Florida. Items such as tuna fish cans, fruit cups, cereal, pasta, rice and beans top their wish list.

Deering Estate: Relish National Yoga Month at the Deering Estate’s Fee-Free “P.L.A.Y.” Day on Saturday, September 19, 2015.
