Dancing for Success

Dress for Success, an organization that assists disadvantaged women in South Florida host this dance competition/fundraiser at Bongo’s Cuban Cafe. Contestants can enter in Latin, ballroom and hip-hop categories. Trophies and gift baskets will be awarded in each category. If you’ve got two left feet you can just buy tickets and watch the show while you enjoy Cuban cuisine and cocktails by Ron Atlantico.

All Hands on Deck

Celebrate our sea-going military personnel at this Fleet Week kick-off party that will feature a variety of activities including a dating game, bikini contest, fireworks display, a band concert and food and drink specials from Seminole Paradise retailers all evening.

Details: 6 p.m.-10 p.m. at the Seminole Paradise Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. 1 Seminole Way, Hollywood, 954-327-7631. The party is free.
