Airport dining just got a whole lot more palatable. Icebox Café, a longtime Lincoln Road favorite, opened its first location at MIA’s North Terminal (near D8) last week, bringing breakfast, lunch and dinner to the starving, haggard masses in search of anything other than day-old Chinese food. Icebox on the Fly will be serving all day long – goodbye greasy pizza and hello turkey meatloaf, lentil salad tuna nicoise. Indulge in a famed cake (anointed one of the best in America by Oprah) – think German chocolate, strawberry shortcake and white chocolate soufflé. Desserts will be available for cross-country shipping (just as they are on the restaurant’s website).
