Winter Music Conference is over and we have one week to recover before continuing March Madness. This week we’ve got the Luck of the Irish taking over with St. Patty’s Day celebrations going on all over, but to keep you shaking and moving through the rest of the week here are my top club events to check out while you get your SPRING BREAK ON!


Wet & Wild at Mansion

International Wednesdays at Mansion is getting into the spirit of spring break with a special Wet & Wild themed night featuring an ever classic Wet T-shirt Contest and a bikini fashion show by Beatnix. Ladies, as an added bonus, you’ll enjoy complimentary champagne until midnight. Let the games begin – SPRING BREAK is in full swing!

Norman Doray Gets Subliminal at Arkadia

Thursday night after you’ve celebrated St. Patty’s Day with your favorite green beer, switch gears and head over to Arkadia Lounge for a night of electrifying house music from special guest Norman Doray. Get Subliminal with electrifying House music like his latest single, the remix to David Tort ft. Gosha,  “One Look”.

Jidax at SET

After you’ve recovered from your St. Patty’s day hangover, get yourself together and make your way to SET nightclub for a special treat with Parisian DJ duo team JIDAX.  DJs Le Jide Jidax and Axel Stylmon Jidax are taking over the decks to bring you their funky, high-energy remixes to popular tracks such as Tea Moss’ “Break Down” and Tony Marquez ft. Philly’s “I’m In Love With the Music”.  Forget all your frustrations from work and let it all out on the dance floor at SET!

Danny Howells

Saturday head to the Seminole Hard Rock to party it up at Gryphon nightclub for special guest DJ Danny Howells.  He’s bringing you a night of sexy, progressive house with hits like “Landing on Planets”, “September”, and “Laid Out”.  The trip may be a little far, but a night with Danny Howells is well worth it.  See you at Gryphon!

Hoosha LIVE at Vinyl & Kai

1131 Washington Ave., Miami Beach

If you’re looking for something more CHILLAXED may I suggest heading over to Vinyl & Kai on Washington Ave. This week there’ll be a LIVE performance by local band Hoosha for the launch of Enjoy an open bar package from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. for the just $25 and kick back in a laid back atmosphere with all the South Beach locals while enjoying some alternative rock and funk. 

Dress code is anything goes.  It all starts at 9 p.m.


Hearts & Stars Gala 2011 at SHANGRI LA Mansion

This week I added a special bonus pick that is for a great cause.  Saturday night if you really want to do something different, purchase your tickets for the 2011 Hearts & Stars Gala going on at the beautiful Shangri La Mansion.  The night will benefit The Little Light House Foundation that seeks, identifies and provides support to children and their families with health, educational, and financial challenges. The Gala is Black tie optional and will feature a performance by Shelley Rennee and AGAPE

The party starts at 8 p.m. and goes until midnight, after which you can head over to LIV nightclub (4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach) for the official after-party to continue with a long night of dancing to special guests the EC Twins as they take over the turntables.
