John “Footy” Kross will emcee the parade. The event takes place from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Young Circle and Hollywood Boulevard. The festival also features Irish music (at 19th Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard), vendors, traditional Irish food and drinks; www.stpatricksparade.com/ Annual St. Patrick’s Day Street Festival: The festival takes place March 17 along the New River and inside the Downtowner Saloon, with a live concert, face painting, Irish music and corned beef and cabbage platters. St. Patrick’s Day on Second Street: Join a block party with live music, drinks and more in downtown Fort Lauderdale, along Southwest Second Street, which will be closed from Southwest Second Avenue to Fourth Avenue , in Himmarshee Village starting at 5 p.m. Nine venues in the area will be selling food inside, with bars outside.
