So what the heck was Mr. Worldwide doing there? The SLAM charter school founder made an appearance at the University of Florida on Tuesday for a speaking engagement on campus for Hispanic Heritage Month, then ended up touring the UF athletics department.
“I want to say thank you very much. I appreciate it,” he said graciously into the camera. “As a Miami boy I have a whole lot of respect for which is UD [former Gator Udonis Haslem]. He was a Gator, so UD look at me, I’m playing for the Gators!”
