Saturday night’s Black Tie on Ocean Drive Gala presented by Hublot and Dom Perignon raised over a million dollars for the Miami Heat Charitable fund. After Dwyane Wade auctioned off a Hublot watch for $35,000, the crowd was so enthusiastic that Hublot donated three more that will be engraved with the phrase “Heatlifer,” as suggested by Heat president, Pat Riley, signifying the franchise players’ “forever home in Miami.” Riley purchased one for his own collection. After dinner, Toni Braxton, led on stage by Wade and Udonis Haslem, entertained the intimate crowd and even got some help from the players, Riley and Mrs. Wade, Gabrielle Union. On Sunday, Braxton was seen brunching with her family at La Mar by Gaston Acurio at the Mandarin Oriental, Miami.
