William Levy was worth the wait. The telenovela heartthrob arrived a little on the late side as the guest of honor Wednesday night at the Ritz Carlton South Beach for the official launch of Miami Rum Club’s new ad campaign. Reps said he was caught in “food fest traffic.” But once Levy arrived, looking so suave and dapper in a tuxedo, all was forgiven. The so-called Latin Brad Pitt smiled for cameras on a black carpet and posed with fellow VIPS like Univision personalities Lili Estefan and Enrique Santos; Golden Globe winner Selenis Leyva, of Orange is the New Black; and Venue magazine publisher/Bravolebrity Herman Echevarria, a partner in the rum company.

So is the Dancing with the Stars alum single? Hard to say. Spies say he arrived with longtime partner and mother of his two children, Elizabeth Gutierrez, but she quickly retreated from photographers, and stayed out of the limelight by the bar.“She looked like she was there just to support him,” said a spy.
For those taking notes at home, Levy said his rum drink of choice is a Cuba libre (mixed with cola and lime juice).
