Art and politics collided when Jeb Bush held a campaign event Saturday at Romero Britto’s gallery in Wynwood. On his way in through a side door, Bush said he told donors at an earlier event in Coral Gables, “We’re gonna win.” The donors, he said, “agreed.”
Britto designed a colorful campaign poster for Bush in his trademark kitschy, pop-art style with the slogan, #AllInForJeb. Inside the gallery, the artist led a few attendees on a tour. He didn’t stop to linger over photos that showed him with Democrats Bill Clinton and Edward Kennedy.
