A tidy number of action-movie fans were freaking the freak out at the AMC Aventura Thursday night. Big time filmmaker Michael Bay (Transformers, Armageddon, Bad Boys) was walking the red carpet with the cast of his latest, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.
John Krasinski, who has officially broken out of the comedy genre, was part of the gang, leaning over the velvet ropes to take selfies with locals.

The former Office star bulked up 25 pounds to play a former Navy SEAL attempting to save Americans holed up inside the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, on Sept. 11, 2012. “I have a lot of members in my family who have served and are still serving in the military,” said Krasinski of why he wanted to take part. “They are the real superheroes.”
Bay, who spoke to the audience later, said he had his own motivations: “To me, the Battle of Benghazi story was inspirational — it’s is a great human story.”
