Pitbull really is Mr. 305. The Miami rapper performed for roughly 1500 local VIPs celebrating the grand opening of Brickell City Centre, the highly anticipated new micro city constructed in the middle of the action.

Even the rain couldn’t stop the “I Know You Want Me” singer.

As the downpour began, the dapper showman, dressed in all black, kept on going.

After Pitbull closed his set, New York event party planner Suzanne Bartsch kicked off a bacchanal, and tricked out the mall at BCC in her signature, eccentric style, with models on stilts, bird masks and elaborate costumes.

Guests sipped on champagne and walked about the 500,000 square foot retail complex anchored by Saks Fifth Avenue, where shoppers ogled the luxury offerings.
