Brandon Flowers cancels Fillmore concert

In disappointing news for Brandon Flowers fans: The singer’s Wednesday night show at the Fillmore Miami Beach has been canceled. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase, and dates are not being rescheduled. Flowers had been touring in support of his new solo album The Desired Effect. In a statement, The Killers frontman apologized for pulling out “due to unforeseen circumstances.”

On his Facebook page, the singer gave a few more details: “To the Southeastern stronghold, I am sorry I canceled on such short notice. There are 3 little boys and a woman that needed me in Las Vegas. Everything is copacetic.” He is referring to wife Tana Mundkowsky and their brood, Gunnar, Henry and Ammon. In March, the entertainer told The Belfast Telegraph: “When I’m not making music … I try to be the best dad I can be to my kids, try to be the best husband I can be to my wife. And maybe get a hike in.”
