Miami Heat victory parade set for Monday morning

We’ve got this down by now: First comes the championship. Now comes the parade.

The Heat will celebrate its third NBA championship — and second in as many years — with another jaunt through Miami. The parade is 11 a.m. and like last year, the parade will wrap through downtown Miami, ending up at the AmericanAirlines Arena, where there will be a victory rally to conclude the celebration. Tickets will be required for entry into the arena.

Following the 2012 championship, the parade of Heat players and coaches began at the corner of Southeast Eighth Street and Second Avenue, headed east on Eighth, then north on Brickell Avenue across the bridge and north on Biscayne Boulevard to the arena.
