Now you can watch ‘The Exorcist’ in the water on an inflatable screen -- if you’re brave enough

Admit it. The Exorcist is still terrifying.

Even if you weren’t alive when it came out in 1973, you know about it: The pea soup, the 360 degree head turn, the shaking bed. C’mon, if you don’t know we’re referring to, please Google it.

The cult classic about a possessed young girl (Linda Blair) didn’t have today’s special effects like CGI, but remains creepy as hell.

Thirty five years later, you can watch “The Exorcist” in a unique setting:  On Friday, Oct. 12 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., BG Oleta River Outdoor Center, 3400 NE 163rd St., North Miami Beach, will be screening the horror flick on the water.

This a BYOF (Bring your own Float) event, though tubes will be offered pre-event at a discounted rate of $5 a tube and $10 on the night of. Admission includes glow stick necklace.

Food and beverages will be available on site for purchase, so leave coolers in your car.

The Halloween Movie Night on the Water Event will happen rain or shine; chairs are welcome. Admission is $20; adults only means 18 and up.
