An exhibition of historic photographs, A Look into the World of Our Native Seminoles, has gone on display at the Museum of the Everglades. The collection of black and white photos, provided by the Seminole Tribe of Florida, are up in the Pauline Reeves Gallery through March offering a glimpse into a culture once hidden deep in the Everglades. Located in historic Everglades City, the Collier County museum’s mission is to explore over 2,000 years of human history in the area and tell the story of adventurers stubborn enough to settle Southwest Florida’s lush “River of Grass.”
