Boost body-sculpting results with supplements

Similar to anti-aging injectables, body-sculpting treatments like UltraShape and LipoSonix are changing the face of cosmetic dermatology. Prior to these treatments, surgical liposuction was the only way to eliminate stubborn fat that’s resistant to diet and exercise — and as with all surgery, it comes with risk. On the flip side, non-invasive fat-melting treatments like UltraShape and LipoSonix allow patients to get immediately back to work and see a reduction of up to a few inches within a few months’ time.

Patients have been extremely satisfied with the results of UltraShape and LipoSonix alone, but we’ve been seeing more dramatic results when patients take a specific combination of supplements after treatment — and we’ve seen inches lost go from one to two inches up to three or four.

The supplements we’ve been using are from a brand called GliSODin, and the line is formulated to improve the skin and enhance the results of cosmetic procedures. Their patented main ingredient is called superoxide dismutase (SOD), an antioxidant enzyme derived from a specific species of French melon. This antioxidant has been the subject of much research, and numerous studies have shown its efficacy for neutralizing the free radicals that cause inflammation, and its positive effects on the skin.

Our body-sculpting patients have been using a combination of the Detoxification/Cleansing Formula and Advanced Slimming Formula. Taken 15 days before treatment, the Detoxification/Cleansing Formula helps ramp up the liver so it can break down the fat and eliminate it faster after body sculpting. Patients also receive a three-month supply of the Advanced Slimming Formula to help suppress the appetite, aid digestion, reduce bloating, improve the appearance of cellulite and provide antioxidant benefits for the entire body.

Although there haven’t been any studies confirming the supplements’ effects on body-contouring results, we’ve seen the improvement first-hand and are embarking on a trial to assess the role these products play. So if you’re thinking of trying UltraShape or LipoSonix for yourself, I definitely recommend incorporating these supplements to make the most of these treatments.
