The Real Housewives of Miami Cristy Rice talks about skincare

Let’s talk about health and housewives. Specifically: skin care and The Real Housewives of Miami.

Yeah, yeah. Cast members in the Real Housewives franchise tend to fall squarely in the Women-We-Love-to-Hate category of pop culture – rare is the reality show character who doesn’t – but they’re not all big lips and tiny dogs.

Too their credit, the hausfraus of Bravo get some stuff right.

Don’t believe us? Real Housewife of Miami Cristy Rice and Dr. Jonette Keri, a dermatologist with the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, sat down to talk sun and skin.

As any society gal from South Florida knows: it’s a tough balance between having a beautiful, sun-kissed complexion while avoiding the look of shoe leather – or as Rice put it, the color of “orange-purple.”

So Keri and Rice share some healthy habits that can help you strike the right balance between enjoying the sun and protecting your skin.

And in case you were wondering, those over sized sunglasses are, indeed, functional.
