Bam! Nightclub owner Dave Grutman had a special guest to his Komodo restaurant Tuesday: Emeril Lagasse. Grutman posted a video on Instagram with the food legend — and was obviously thrilled: “Dreams do come true. It was an honor to film with the original celebrity chef,” wrote the owner of LIV.
Lagasse also popped by Sergio’s on Coral Way Wednesday. He hung out by La Ventana — aka “the window,” where locals grab cafecitos and gab — and munched on empanadas as well as the eatery’s signature croqueta preparada, a Cuban sandwich with a croqueta crammed inside.
“Miami has such incredible culture – so it was an honor for Emeril to recognize our mark here by experiencing our Cuban cuisine,” said Sergio’s CEO Carlos Gazitua.

On Twitter, Lagasse posted a picture of a yummy looking piece of meat from Okeechobee Steakhouse in Palm Beach.
The visits will appear on an upcoming episode of Food Network’s Emeril’s Florida.
