Gloria Estefan is putting on her actress hat.

The singing superstar will appear on "One Day at a Time," Netflix's remake of the 1970s cult classic, reports Deadline.

Estefan confirmed the news on social media: "So excited to announce that I'll finally be guest starring on #odaatnetflix," she tweeted.

In an upcoming Season 3 episode, the Miamian will be playing Mirtha, the younger sister (and arch nemesis) of Lydia, played by Rita Moreno.

The reboot is now focused on a Cuban-American family living in Los Angeles, but is still produced by Norman Lear, who was behind the original.

This isn't Estefan's only connection to "ODAAT." She also sings the theme song, "This Is It."

On Instagram, the Miami Sound Machine icon posted a video of the announcement, and sang a snippet of the song.

"This is fun," she teased of the upcoming show. "It's hilarious."

No need for the music star to take emergency acting lessons. Estefan already has a few acting credits, including turns on TV's "Glee," "Frasier," and "For Love or Country: The Arturo Sandoval Story."
