El italiano Carlo Ancelotti dispone de numerosas variantes para diseñar el primer once titular en un partido oficial, en la final de la Supercopa de Europa ante el Sevilla, que no se quiere perder Cristiano Ronaldo y en la que el alemán Toni Kroos se perfila titular en el hueco que deja Xabi Alonso.

Pese a haber tenido sólo 17 minutos en los amistosos de pretemporada, Cristiano Ronaldo no quiere perderse la primera opción de título que tendrá el Real Madrid en la nueva temporada.

Mejorado de la rodilla izquierda, que le hizo parar en la recta final de la pasada campaña y jugar muy mermado el Mundial de Brasil, Cristiano ha ido incrementando la carga de trabajo en su plan de preparación individual hasta ser uno más del grupo.

Ancelotti baraja ya la opción de alinearle de titular mientras encaja piezas en el equipo que comenzará la final de Cardiff. En la portería es segura la presencia de Iker Casillas. La inminente salida de Diego López al AC Milan, acabó con un debate y recién incorporado Keylor Navas aún quedan días para que se genere uno nuevo.

Después de la final de Liga de Campeones, en la que dejó un error que pudo costar el título, y un mal Mundial, Casillas necesita recuperar la mejor de sus imágenes en la final de la Supercopa ante el Sevilla.

En defensa todo indica a que Dani Carvajal ganará de inicio el pulso a Álvaro Arbeloa por el lateral derecho, que los centrales seguirán siendo Pepe y Sergio Ramos, con Fabio Coentrao en la izquierda ya que Marcelo tiene aún poca carga de trabajo.

La ausencia por sanción de Xabi Alonso abre un abanico de posibilidades para Ancelotti, que puede entregar el mando a Kroos como nuevo ‘jefe' en el juego madridista. Junto a él Luka Modric y el tercer integrante del centro del campo es una duda por despejar: Isco Alarcón, Sami Khedira y hasta la posibilidad del estreno de James Rodríguez.

El tridente ofensivo parece claro y Ancelotti apostará junto a Cristiano por Gareth Bale en su vuelta a casa, Cardiff, y Karim Benzema en punta.

De esta forma, el Real Madrid comenzaría la final de la Supercopa de Europa con: Casillas, Carvajal, Pepe, Sergio Ramos, Coentrao, Kroos, Modric, James, Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo y Benzema.
