A deadly crash early Thursday has shut down a stretch of the MacArthur Causeway.
At least one person died in the crash on the westbound side of the causeway and Fountain Street at Palm Island.
The crash involved a Lamborghini and an SUV. A passenger was killed and the two drivers were taken to the hospital.
"Witnesses told us that a Lamborghini was going in excess of 100 miles per hour," Miami Beach police spokesman Bobby Hernandez said at the scene.

Apparently, the sports car struck a Suburban that was stopped at a red light.
Debris is spread across the road. After the impact, the Lamborghini spun into a causeway guardrail.
"Expect MacArthur Causeway westbound to be closed for several hours."
Residents of Palm and Hibiscus islands on the MacArthur are getting a police escort around the scene, heading east in the westbound lanes.
Drivers heading to Miami need to take the Venetian or Tuttle causeways to the north. Backups are building on the Venetian, with traffic stretching all the way east to the Sunset Harbour neighborhood as drivers attempt to get to downtown Miami.
