Miami Springs Memorial Day Service: Hundreds of River Cities residents are expected to attend a ceremony on Monday at 9:30 a.m. — in front of the War Monument on Curtiss Parkway — to honor members of the armed forces killed in war. There will be music, an honor guard, guest speakers and more. The event is sponsored by the Daughters of the American Revolution, John MacDonald Chapter, and the city of Miami Springs.
