South Florida is under an urban flood advisory as heavy rains cover the region. The advisory is in effect until 2:15 p.m. Monday.
Flood-prone areas, including Northeast Miami-Dade and Miami Beach, should take note, according to the National Weather Service.
At noon Monday, three to four inches have been recorded along I-195 and two to three inches in Miami Beach. Storms are redeveloping over Biscayne Bay, with the possibility of more rain in Miami Beach.
Streets are flooded near at I-395 at the Biscayne Boulevard exit in downtown Miami near the Arsht Center.

Forecasters expect thunderstorms all afternoon and into the evening. A few could become severe, with gust 40-60 mph, quarter-sized hail, heavy rainfall and street flooding.
Tuesday’s forecast calls for mostly sunny skies.
