Miami Heat set for final exhibition game in China vs. Clippers

The Miami Heat will play its second exhibition game of the China Games against the Los Angeles Clippers at 12:30 a.m. Sunday at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai.

The game will be televised by NBA TV.

Dwyane Wade made his preseason debut Thursday against the Clippers after undergoing offseason surgery on his left knee. In an uneven performance, Wade shot 2 of 9 from the field and missed an uncontested dunk attempt in Miami’s 94-80 victory against Los Angeles in Beijing.

Wade has said he plans to play in both games against the Clippers when he announced a sneaker deal with the China-based company Li-Ning earlier in the week.

Mario Chalmers missed the game in Beijing with a sore leg. Norris Cole started for Chalmers and scored 11 points. LeBron James continues to pace the Heat, which is 2-1 in exhibitions. James scored 20 points in Beijing on 6-of-11 shooting, including 8 of 9 from the free-throw line.

Newly acquired guard Ray Allen is fitting in nicely with the Heat so far. Allen scored 15 points off the bench Thursday and was 4 of 8 from the three-point line.
