Increase in sales at Lennar’s The Isles at Oasis, The Vineyards

The impressive sales at Lennar’s The Isles at Oasis and The Vineyards, due in part to the offers of zero closing costs and $5,000 towards upgrades, is in keeping with the national trend whereby buyers are purchasing now before prices and interest rates go up any further, a Lennar official says.

“The market is indeed turning. Here in South Florida, like around the country, smart home buyers are racing to cash in on at what appears to be the tail end of one of the most incredible buyers’ markets in recent history,” says Carlos Gonzalez, president of Lennar’s Southeast Florida Division. “In fact, not long ago, a six-month rally landed South Florida’s housing market on a most-improved list of areas showing signs of an economic recovery. As available inventory shrinks and the demand goes up, prices and interest rates follow suit. The longer people wait to buy, the more they will pay. It’s that simple.”

According to Gonzalez, Lennar is trying to afford as many people as possible the opportunity to jump on the home-buying bandwagon and realize the dream of a new home or, in the case of first-time buyers, the joy of homeownership. Evidence of that effort is seen at The Isles at Oasis and The Vineyards, he says. Designed with the charm and colors of the Caribbean, The Isles at Oasis is an island-inspired, master-planned lifestyle offering a collection of one- and two-story, single-family homes from the upper $100,000s with up to five bedrooms and nearly 3,000 square feet.
