The Bal Harbour Shops and fashion demigod designer Oscar de la Renta are teaming up for a runway show on Nov. 19 to support and maintain the newborn intensive care unit at Jackson Memorial Hospital, which treats critically ill infants at no cost.
The event will take place at the InterContinental hotel in downtown Miami. De la Renta will present his Resort 2012 collection, inspired by iconic Spanish items like matador jackets and Picasso paintings.
There will also be a silent auction for designer jewelry, travel and getaways, as well as spa and dining packages. All the funds raised will go to the newborn unit.
Tickets range from $150 to $350 and you can buy them online at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine’s website.
