Centerline Homes’ The Ranches at Cooper City has surpassed the 70 percent sold mark since the pre-model opening less than three months ago.
The family-size floor plans, 112-by-153-foot lots and Centerline’s legendary included features package have struck a chord with buyers looking for more space in a more intimate type of neighborhood, says a company spokesperson.
Priced from $475,400, The Ranches at Cooper City is offering a selection of distinctive models, each designed to appeal to families who need a larger residence.
“The response to The Ranches at Cooper City has been overwhelming,” says Deb Marton, vice-president of sales for Centerline Homes. “Our buyers are responding to the spacious floor plans, the incredible included features and the ultra-convenient and country-style Cooper City location.”

Centerline Homes has been one of South Florida’s premier home builders for the past 18 years, says Marton. In that time, the company has gained a reputation for innovative design, quality construction and outstanding value and The Ranches at Cooper City continues the traditions of excellence, she adds.
Typical of the innovative design and family-friendly floor plans is The Rancho Viejo model, which was specifically created to meet the needs of a growing family in 2011 and beyond. Priced from $509,900, The Rancho Viejo features more than 3,300 square feet of living area and encompasses five bedrooms and loft, four full baths and a three-car garage. The placement of the bedrooms and loft allows for the perfect combination of private spaces as well as family gathering spaces. The owner’s suite is located on the first floor, away from hectic daily living. The 15-by-20-foot room features a bay-windowed sitting area, elegant coffered ceiling detail and two walk-in closets, as well as a third wardrobe closet and linen closet.
“The Rancho Viejo may be the only home in South Florida that has enough closet space in the owner’s suite to actually accommodate both his and her wardrobes,” says Marton. “The closets are adjacent to an ultra-luxurious owner’s bath that includes a Roman-style soaking tub, oversize stall shower and his-and-hers vanities that include the elegance of granite tops with maple cabinets and the practicality of storage drawers.”
An additional bedroom and adjacent full bath are located on the other side of the first floor, making the room ideal for a live-in relative, guest suite or home office.
The second floor of The Rancho Viejo is all about the kids. It offers families the luxury of space and includes three bedrooms (one of which has a private bath), two baths and a recreation loft overlooking the family room, likely to become the most popular room in the neighborhood.
The kitchen is the heart of any home, and The Rancho Viejo is no exception, says Marton. Encompassing some 273 square feet in addition to a bay-windowed breakfast area, standard features of The Rancho Viejo’s kitchen include maple cabinets with granite countertops, recessed lighting, a center island, large pantry, oversize breakfast bar with pendant lighting and a stainless steel Whirlpool appliance package that features a 25.2-cubic-foot refrigerator, built-in microwave, separate wall oven and double dishwashers. The adjacent laundry room is both bright and spacious.
Every home at The Ranches features Centerline Homes’ legendary included feature package. A partial list of standard items includes; hurricane-resistant windows and sliding glass doors, brick paved driveways, walkways and covered lanais, 18-inch ceramic tile throughout first floor living areas, stainless steel Whirlpool kitchen appliances, Schlage door hardware with satin nickel finish, “carriage-style” impact-resistant garage doors, concrete S-style tile roofs, granite kitchen and bath vanity countertops, maple cabinetry in kitchen and baths, fully equipped laundry rooms with built-in cabinets and laundry sink and an automatic sprinkler system with landscaped and sodded lot measuring a minimum of 112-by-153 feet.
A second two-story model, the Rancho Santa Fe, is also available at The Ranches at Cooper City. The plan features a second floor owner’s suite and a first floor bedroom suite, again, ideal for a multi-generational family’s needs, guest suite or home office, says Marton.
The Rancho Santa Fe also includes Centerline Homes’ legendary included features and a few architectural features that are unique to the almost 3,600-square-foot floor plan, among them are a large two-story foyer with circular staircase, morning kitchen in the owner’s suite, separate powder room just off the foyer, a shared Jack-and-Jill bath between two of the secondary bedrooms and an upgraded exterior elevation with stack-stone accents. Priced at $511,900, The Rancho Santa Fe also includes a brick-paved covered lanai measuring 54 feet in length that can accommodate an outdoor dining space as well as several seating areas.
In addition to being easily accessible to interstates 595, 75, 95 and Florida’s Turnpike, The Ranches is one block away from one of Cooper City’s many parks. Shopping is very convenient and nightlife choices such as the Seminole Hard Rock casino or the restaurants of Las Olas are just minutes away.
“Our buyers also love the Cooper City location,” says Marton, “In addition to fine schools and near-by shopping, we’ve found that Cooper City is the kind of place that kids who grew up in the area now want to raise their own families.”
