Thomson Team breaking records in the Miami real estate market

This family team comprised of mother Jennifer, father Ken and daughters Lisa and Michelle entered the South Florida real estate marketplace in 2005 and the results have been nothing short of amazing. Sales associates within the Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate Pinecrest office, The Thomson Team sold more homes in 2010 than any other real estate team in Miami, according to the southeast Florida MLS for 2010 within Miami-Dade County. In fact, since 2009, they’ve sold more than 720 homes.

Anticipating an influx in distressed properties in 2005, Jennifer and Lisa began their real estate career focused on this niche market. Securing alliances with lenders throughout the country, The Thomson Team nurtured these relationships and were soon sought after to handle multiple corporate accounts. Now, recognized nationally by industry leaders, they have become the market experts on foreclosure and short sale properties, said Mike Murray, regional Senior Vice President for Coldwell Banker.The Thomson Team has focused on adding multi-million-dollar properties to their portfolio.

“We came together collaboratively, each with our individual strengths, and achieved the results we set for ourselves. We have added this new niche market and the opportunities are even greater,” says Jennifer Thomson.

Residents of South Florida, Jennifer and Lisa began their real estate career in 2005, joining Coldwell Banker under the management guidance of Joanna Sherman.

“At our first meeting, I knew that they would become successful – they had the determination, motivation and the business mind-set to be the best,” says Sherman. Ken and Michelle soon joined the team and they’ve been unstoppable ever since, Sherman says.

The Thomson Team’s innovative marketing programs have brought hundreds of buyers and sellers together and their reputation for excellence is recognized nationally both by individual homeowners and industry lenders. Moreover, in 2010, the Wall Street Journal ranked them as the No. 3 team in Florida in unit sales, Coldwell Banker officials say.
