The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a dense fog advisory for most inland sections of South Florida.
The advisory is in effect until 9 a.m. Friday.
According to the weather service, dense fog can be expected over the Everglades of Broward and Palm Beach counties.
Motorists in the region should be prepared to encounter areas of fog that can limit visibility. Drivers should slow down, use low-beam headlights and allow plenty of following distance between vehicles.
Though visibility may be limited in some western areas, Interstate 75 and U.S. 27 in Broward County remained open Friday morning.
