Woman killed by train; Pompano Beach traffic affected

Deputies were called to the scene along the 800 block of Dixie Highway shortly after 5 a.m., according to BSO.

The adult female was pronounced dead on the scene, the agency said. BSO homicide and crime scene detectives are investigating the case.

The train is still in place because of the investigation and crossings along the tracks from Northeast 10th Street south to Southwest 3rd Street are blocked.
