There has been a lot of good news lately about the resurgence of Miami’s condominium market, particularly in the downtown and Brickell neighborhoods. In the newly released March 2010 update of the Miami Downtown Development Authority’s ongoing market survey, it becomes clear that the upturn is no mere spike of activity but a sustained trend that began in the final quarter of 2009, says a spokesperson for Viceroy Residences.
That may come as a surprise to some, but it confirms what has been obvious at Viceroy Residences since grand opening weekend in late January saw 20 sales in under 48 hours, says the spokesperson.
“With as many closings and sales as we have had in the last few months, Viceroy Residences makes it clear and absolute that, at the right price, there are still plenty of buyers for the downtown, pedestrian lifestyle,” explains Jesse Ottley, Viceroy sales director. “Located next to the bay, the river and Brickell Bay Park, The Residences at Viceroy give owners plenty of room to enjoy comfortable, cosmopolitan, waterfront living at a Brickell address with Biscayne Bay views. Buyers are responding to full condominium ownership with hotel services catering to their lifestyle.”
An innovative, highly flexible ownership program places no restrictions on usage of the residence, permitting owners to come and go as they please, using their residences whenever they like, however they like, for as long as they like, says Ottley.

Owners even have the option of furnishing their residences through partner Tui Lifestyle. From furnishings to rugs, accent pieces, artwork, electronics, lighting, flatware and even fresh-cut flowers, all can be provided with just 72 hours’ notice, says Ottley.
As a primary residence, second or third home, vacation property or pied-a-terre, a Viceroy residence affords its owners a permanent place in the world of Viceroy Miami, says Ottley.
Amenities are second to none, including full membership in the 28,000-square-foot Viceroy Spa & Fitness Center, one of the most extravagant wellness facilities in town. They can also enjoy acclaimed dining at Eos Restaurant and high-profile events almost nightly at the elegant Club 50 rooftop pool and lounge.
A spectacular “park in the sky” features an infinity-edge pool stretching more than 300 feet toward the horizon, 100 feet above Biscayne Bay. Viceroy hotel services include valet parking and 24-hour room service.
Occupying floors 16 through 49 of the 50-story Viceroy Tower, The Residences offer the finest views of the Brickell and Downtown skyline, the Miami River, Biscayne Bay and across the water toward Miami Beach and Key Biscayne. Floor-to-ceiling windows and nine-foot ceilings contribute to the dramatic vistas from each residence and balcony.
Studio, one- and two-bedroom units feature gourmet-style kitchens with Italian cabinetry and stone countertops. Appliances are from famous makers like Sub-Zero, Wolf and Bosch.
Master baths are elegant in French limestone flooring and porcelain lavatories, Italian cabinetry and luxuries like air bubble jet system tubs and elongated water closets.
