Lennar helps home buyers beat the April 30 tax credit deadline

The month of April will go by quickly and the historic home buyer tax credits will be gone. To make sure prospective buyers don’t miss out on the extraordinary savings opportunity, Lennar, one of the nation’s leading home builders, is hosting an open house event at each of its communities across South Florida, a company official says.

This Saturday and Sunday from Miami-Dade to the Treasure Coast, home buyers can visit a Lennar community and enjoy refreshments, tour the decorated models and explore all the immediate brand new move-in available homes that can be purchased by April 30 in time to benefit from the tax credits, says the official.

First-time home buyers may qualify to receive a government tax credit of up to $8,000. Current homeowners may also be able to receive up to a $6,500 tax credit. The tax credits are not loans, there is no repayment required, but prospective buyers have to act now.

Plus, for a limited time only, Lennar gives prospective home buyers even more reasons to buy now with no down payment and no closing costs at select South Florida communities.
