Real Living and First Service Realty form robust organization

For nearly 30 years, First Service Realty has been a trusted advisor to South Florida buyers, sellers and investors. It is known for warm, professional service and convenient one-stop approach, says a company spokesperson.

First Service Realty is a strong, growing company with 725 associates in 11 South Florida offices.

Now, First Service Realty is enhancing its services through a new affiliation with Real Living, one of the nation’s most powerful real estate companies, says the spokesperson.

Led by Eduardo San Román, president and CEO, Real Living First Service Realty is the dynamic South Florida hub of a robust nationwide organization, says the spokesperson.

“Through Real Living, we are now part of one of the nation’s largest coast-to-coast relocation programs,” says San Román, GRI, who founded the Miami company in 1982 with his wife María, and at age 24 became president of the Miami Association of Realtors. “Our sellers also benefit from Real Living’s extensive international marketing program, which showcases their homes to buyers around the world.”

Harley E. Rouda Jr., president of Real Living, adds, “We are very excited to have Real Living First Service Realty join us. This is an outstanding organization known for excellent customer service, impressive commitment to community and a high level of professionalism. We look forward to working together.”

For buyers, Real Living First Service Realty offers a full-service approach, including mortgage loans and title insurance.

“We want to simplify the complex process of buying a home,” says Armando Díaz, chief operating officer. “Our experienced team makes sure the transaction goes smoothly, and we can close the sale at any of our office locations — a real convenience for buyers.”

Through All in One Mortgage, buyers have access to a wide variety of mortgages, including low-downpayment FHA loans. Applicants can receive approval within 48 hours, allowing them to move forward with confidence. The firm is also affiliated with First Service Title Co., led by Lydia Balda, executive vice president.

Real Living First Service Realty also works closely with financial institutions to manage and sell their foreclosed properties. Raúl González leads the firm’s real estate owned (REO) department, which has handled the liquidation of bank and corporate-owned real estate in a fast and efficient manner for more than 25 years.

Real Living First Service Realty is now part of Brookfield Residential Property Services, which purchased GMAC Real Estate and merged its franchise network with Real Living, a national brokerage company based in Columbus, Ohio. Brookfield is a division of Brookfield Asset Management, Inc., a global asset manager listed on the New York and Toronto stock exchanges.

With its new national affiliation, Real Living First Service Realty is moving forward with a regional expansion program.

“We expect to open two to three new offices annually for the next five years,” says Díaz. “We are looking for top agents who can provide the high level of friendly, professional service our firm has provided for decades.”
