Lennar: Final weekend of fiscal year-end inventory home blowout

This weekend home shoppers can make the move to save when they buy a new Lennar home, a company spokesperson says.

It’s the final weekend to take advantage of fiscal year-end savings on ready-to-move-in homes throughout the company’s 14 communities from Miami-Dade County to the Treasure Coast.

Right now, Lennar has new homes across South Florida available with payments that may be lower than ever, plus zero closing costs on select homes, says the spokesperson.

Additionally, Lennar’s preferred lender, Universal American Mortgage Company, is providing interest rates starting as low as 4.50 percent (5.02 percent APR) fixed for life.

The incentives are in addition to the recent $8,000 first-time home buyer tax credit extension. Those who haven’t owned a home in the last three years may qualify to receive the government tax credit of up to $8,000, says the spokesperson.

Besides, current homeowners may also be able now to receive a $6,500 tax credit, adds the spokesperson. The tax credits are not loans and there is no re-payment.

One of Lennar’s premier communities in Miami-Dade is Silver Palms, the largest residential community in the Miami area. The 292-acre, beautifully landscaped master-planned community features lakes, sidewalks, street lighting and more than 17,500 trees throughout. An elegant 12,000-square-foot private clubhouse is to be built.
