This weekend home shoppers can make the move to save when they buy a new Lennar home, a company spokesperson says.
It’s the final weekend to take advantage of fiscal year-end savings on ready-to-move-in homes throughout the company’s 14 communities from Miami-Dade County to the Treasure Coast.
Right now, Lennar has new homes across South Florida available with payments that may be lower than ever, plus zero closing costs on select homes, says the spokesperson.
Additionally, Lennar’s preferred lender, Universal American Mortgage Company, is providing interest rates starting as low as 4.50 percent (5.02 percent APR) fixed for life.

The incentives are in addition to the recent $8,000 first-time home buyer tax credit extension. Those who haven’t owned a home in the last three years may qualify to receive the government tax credit of up to $8,000, says the spokesperson.
Besides, current homeowners may also be able now to receive a $6,500 tax credit, adds the spokesperson. The tax credits are not loans and there is no re-payment.
One of Lennar’s premier communities in Miami-Dade is Silver Palms, the largest residential community in the Miami area. The 292-acre, beautifully landscaped master-planned community features lakes, sidewalks, street lighting and more than 17,500 trees throughout. An elegant 12,000-square-foot private clubhouse is to be built.
Silver Palms is minutes from Florida’s Turnpike and U.S. 1 and offers residents the convenience of nearby shops, movie theatres, places of worship, schools and hospitals.
Silver Palms offers buyers a selection of single-family homes with ample lot sizes and spacious, well-designed townhomes at a great value.
The Sable and Majesty collections at Silver Palms feature two-story, three- and four-bedroom townhomes with one- or two-car garages. The townhomes have large open spaces such as a family room, master bedrooms with coffered ceiling and ample closet areas leading to a luxurious master bath with double vanities, shower and Roman-style tub, and some floor plans even include a loft and balcony on the second floor. The elevations include designer exterior stone and decorative shutters reminiscent of California-style architecture. Homes include brick-paved driveway, walkway, entry and patio leading to each townhome.
All homes come with a GE appliance package and ceramic tile in standard areas, and are ready for immediate move-in.
Homes in the Sable Collection range from 1,913 to 2,101 square feet and are priced now from the upper $100,000s. The Majesty Collection townhomes range from 2,013 to 2,600 square feet with prices from the low $200,000s.
The Southeast Florida Division of Lennar offers a variety of communities to suit every lifestyle, including an almost-sold-out, active-adult community for residents 55 and over. Single-family homes are priced from the upper $100,000s; townhomes, from the low $100,000s; and near closeout luxury townhomes built in a high-rise condominium setting are discounted to sell from the $300,000s.
Welcome Home Centers and decorated models are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
