Lennar: Fiscal year-end blowout this weekend all across South Florida

Lennar, one of the nation’s leading home builders, is offering reduced pricing on ready-to-move-in condominiums, townhomes and single-family homes at its 15 communities from Miami-Dade through the Treasure Coast, a company spokesperson says.

The home builder says this weekend is the time to visit a Lennar community, as historic incentives currently available will soon be history.

“As one of the strongest names in the home building industry and currently celebrating our 55th anniversary, all of us at Lennar know that the housing market is turning around and time is running out to take advantage of the current deals and incentive packages being offered to prospective buyers on brand new homes,” says Frank Fernández, director of sales and marketing for Lennar’s Southeast Florida division. “Prospective home buyers need to realize these historic incentives will not be around much longer.”

This weekend, Saturday, Sept. 26 and Sunday, Sept. 27, is the time for prospective buyers in Southeast Florida to take action. Now is the opportunity to buy a new Lennar home, says Fernández. The builder has brand-new homes available with payments starting as low as $991 a month. Besides, Lennar is providing zero closing costs on select Southeast Florida residences. Additionally, Lennar’s preferred lender, Universal America Mortgage Company (UAMC), is offering interest rates starting as low as 4.50 percent (5.02 percent annual percentage rate) fixed for life, says Fernández.

The incentives are in addition to the government’s first-time-buyer tax credit opportunity that is quickly coming to an end, adds Fernández.

Those who haven’t owned a home in the last three years may qualify to receive this government tax credit of up to $8,000. It’s not a loan, there is no re-payment, but prospective buyers need to act now as this government stimulus ends in November, says Fernández.

One of Lennar’s premier communities in Miami-Dade is Silver Palms, the largest residential community in the Miami-Dade county area, according to Fernández. The 292-acre, beautifully landscaped, master-planned community features lakes, sidewalks, street lighting and more than 17,500 trees throughout the community. An elegant 12,000 square-foot private clubhouse is to be built unlike any other clubhouse in the area.

Silver Palms is just minutes from Florida’s Turnpike and U.S. 1 and offers residents the convenience of nearby shops, movie theatres, places of worship, schools and hospitals. The Sable Collection at Silver Palms offers home buyers spectacular two-story, three- or four- bedroom townhomes with one- or two-car garages. The townhomes have large open spaces such as a family room, elegant master bedrooms with coffered ceiling and ample closet areas leading to a well-planned master bath with double vanities, shower and Roman-style tub, and some floor plans even include a loft and balcony on the second floor.

The elevations include designer exterior stone and decorative shutters reminiscent of California-style architecture, says Fernández. Homes include brick-paved driveway, walkway, entry and patio leading to each brand new townhome. All homes come with a GE appliance package and ceramic tile in standard areas, and are ready for immediate move-in. Homes in the Sable Collection range from 1,913 to 2,101 square feet and prices start from the upper $100,000s.
