This weekend Lennar, one of the strongest names in the home building industry, is making everyone a winner as it kicks off its “Summer Value Days” sales event celebration in South Florida, a company spokesperson says.
On Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12 all home buyers who visit any of Lennar’s 17 Southeast Florida Communities and register to tour the available model homes will receive a scratch-off ticket, which will instantly win them a three-day hotel getaway, an iPod Shuffle or a digital camera, says the spokesperson.
Each prospective buyer can also enter for a chance to win the grand prize, a five-day Caribbean Cruise for two on Carnival Cruise Lines. Four grand-prize winners will be selected the week of July 20.
“Everyone is a winner. It’s just that simple,” says Frank Fernandez, director of sales and marketing for Lennar’s Southeast Florida Division. “We simply want to encourage all prospective home buyers who are still unsure about purchasing a home today to visit one of our communities and talk to a new home consultant to find out about all the affordable options currently available on a brand new Lennar condo, townhome or single-family home, and just for doing that they get to win a pretty neat prize.”

The builder is encouraging prospective buyers to not just soak up the sun this summer, but to take action toward purchasing the brand new home of their dreams while pricing and interest rates are still at an all time low, reflecting on monthly mortgage payments which may never be lower. During Lennar’s “Summer Value Days” sales event, the builder is offering zero closing costs on select residences from Miami-Dade through the Treasure Coast. Additionally, Lennar’s preferred lender, Universal American Mortgage Company (UAMC), is offering interest rates starting as low as 4.875% (5.40% APR) fixed for life, says Fernandez.
Plus, the incentives are on top of the government’s first-time home buyer tax credit of up to $8,000. Those who haven’t owned a home in the last three years you may qualify to receive the government tax credit. It’s not a loan, there is no re-payment, but prospective buyers should act now because this opportunity ends in November, adds Fernandez.
One of Lennar’s premier communities in Miami-Dade is Silver Palms. The 292-acre beautifully landscaped master-planned community features lakes, sidewalks and street lighting throughout the community. An elegant private clubhouse is to be built with an array of amenities for resident’s to enjoy.
Silver Palms is just minutes from the Florida’s Turnpike and US-1 and offers residents the convenience of nearby shops, movie theatres, places of worship, schools and hospitals.
Lennar’s Silver Palms offers buyers a selection of single-family homes with ample lot sizes, and spacious townhomes at a great value. The Majesty Collection at Silver Palms offers buyers two-story, three- or four-bedroom townhomes with one or two car garages.
The townhomes have large open spaces such as a family room, elegant master bedrooms with coffered ceiling and ample closet areas leading to a well-planned master bath with double vanities, shower, and roman tub, and some floor plans even include a loft and balcony on the second floor.
The elevations include designer exterior stone and decorative shutters reminiscent of California-style architecture. Homes include brick paved driveway, walkway, entry and patio leading to each brand new townhome.
All homes include a GE appliance package, ceramic tile in standard areas, and are ready for immediate move-in. Homes in the Majesty Collection range from 2,013 to 2,600 square feet and prices start from the upper $100,000s.
The Southeast Florida division of Lennar offers a variety of communities to suit every lifestyle, including an active adult community. Single-family homes are priced from the upper $100,000s to the $900,000s, townhomes are priced from the low $100,000s to the $300,000s, and condominium residences are priced from the $90,000s up to the $500,000s.
