Footnote: The exit polls were conducted by Edison Media Research and Mitofsky International for the National Election Pool, an association of major news networks and The Associated Press. The Florida exit poll was based on 3,360 interviews conducted in two separate fields: a sample of 50 polling places among 2,660 Election Day voters and among 700 early and absentee voters reached by telephone. The margin of error is 2 percent.
