The CD tells the story of Cuban exiles living in Miami. Tracks 1-4 describe the anxiety and longing to return to Cuba. Tracks 5-7 describe the beauty of returning to the island. Tracks 8-11 recount the revelry of family and friends who have been separated for too long, and on Track 12, long forgotten traditions are remembered. Tracks 13-18 are a sort of jovial banter that includes a lot of double entendres. In Tracks 20-22, the “exiles” are rejuvenated from their visit to Cuba and begin to long for Miami. Track 23 reaffirms a love for their homeland.
