Urban Promise Miami hosted its Path of Promise Gala at Casa Shangri-La on Hibiscus Island in Miami Beach in October. The fundraiser, sponsored by INDULGE and attended by A-list guests, included a cocktail hour, gourmet dinner and live entertainment to benefit Urban Promise. Founded in 2010, the nonprofit works to equip Miami’s at-risk children with the necessary skills to attain academic achievement, emotional security and problem-solving skills. It also provides on-site psychological counseling to students.
