A new Agent Provocateur lingerie boutique is now open at Bal Harbour Shops.
The brand — founded in 1994 and known for its aesthetic of luxury, indulgence and sensuality — has an evolved look and feel to this store, complementing its palette of pink and black. Leading the design was Agent Provocateur’s Creative Director, Sarah Shotton. She described the new interiors as “still very sexy, but much more feminine and approachable. Some people are still terrified about walking through the doors. Don’t be afraid — it’s liberating once you get inside.”
The boutique, which opened June 30, features bespoke furniture designed in-house and created in Italy, original rattan pieces and 1970s Venini chandeliers. Baby-pink paneling and textured gold wallpaper with artist-applied flamingo and palm motifs add to the reinvigorated look, not to mention leopard-print rugs. The changing rooms are decorated with lavish House of Hackney wallpaper, and AP’s enduring love of touchable textures comes through in sumptuous silk velvet curtains.
The new look of the Bal Harbour store will eventually roll out to all 52 Agent Provocateur locations in 16 countries. 9700 Collins Avenue, Third Floor, Suite C-385, Bal Harbour; agentprovocateur.com.
