French-born Sophie Zembra, who worked in stained glass before switching to fashion, sought to fill the racks of her original store overseas with with eco-conscious clothing, something not so common in haute couture. Now, Zembra is duplicating that idea in Miami with Antidote, new to Wynwood.
Fabrics are free of chemicals and made with the environment in mind, with ingredients like organic cotton, natural rubber and pilapia, a leather made from fish. Gift-worthy pieces range from $150 to $2,000. It’s high fashion without high guilt.
