Former Major League Baseball slugger Sammy Sosa’s previous Miami residence — a 7,159-square-foot mansion in Golden Beach — is back on the market today after extensive renovations. Asking price: $15.95 million.

Located at 667 Ocean Boulevard, the beachfront property sold for $9.15 million in 2016, when Sosa last owned it. The new listing is for the fully furnished seven-bedroom, eight-and-a-half-bath home with a pool, four-car garage and oversize walk-in closets.

The entire inside of the home was redesigned with a more light-and-bright feel, to parallel the beachfront lifestyle. Elements of wood carry warmth throughout the home, while the rest of the interior keeps up with its modern and contemporary style.

An open floor plan transitions seamlessly from inside to outside, letting the fresh air in as the marble floors keep the inside cool. The home’s outdoor fireplace is an ideal place to keep warm after a dip in the pool or ocean, or after a walk around the 24,900-square-foot lot. Inside, the dining room comes with a glass showcase for your bottle collection. For more details, Chad Carroll of Douglas Elliman is the listing agent.
