Indulge wins Florida Magazine Association 2017 Charlie Awards

Indulge Miami won a first-place 2017 Charlie Award and two silver awards in the Florida Magazine Association’s annual statewide journalism contest, announced this weekend at the Ritz-Carlton Naples.

First Place: Best Photography

Second Place: Best Writing

Indulge earned a silver award for best use of social media by a Florida magazine. Indulge Editor in Chief Evan S. Benn has robustly grown its social media presence in the past year, engaging organically with digital readers in South Florida and beyond.

Indulge, first printed in 2012, is Miami’s premier luxury lifestyle magazine, published seven times a year by the Miami Herald Media Co. and includes a newly redesigned website, fully integrated social media and consumer-focused events.

This was Indulge’s first year competing in the FMA Charlie Awards. The association has recognized Florida’s top magazine achievements since 1957, naming the awards after the late Charlie Wellborn Jr., a former University of Florida journalism professor.
