The permanent collection at the Pérez Art Museum Miami got a boost Monday when JPMorgan Chase & Co. announced a donation of six works by American women.

Lisa Erf, director of the JPMorgan Chase Art Program, made the announcement at the museum’s corporate luncheon.

The pieces are by artists Pat Stier, Marilyn Minter, Jenny Holzer, Maya Lin, Barbara Bloom and Judith Shea.

“This is a collection of art that belongs in a museum and for this generation to appreciate,” Erf said in a statement. “We are thrilled that these pieces have found a great home at PAMM.”

More than 300 leaders in the business community attended the luncheon at the museum’s new home along Biscayne Bay.
