Johnny Manziel was also seen at the nightclub, showing up with a huge group just after 2 a.m. to catch a performance by NYC lyricist Talib Kweli. Also seen in the crowd: actor Shemar Moore.
Enrique Iglesias and longtime girlfriend Anna Kournikova were seen having dinner Tuesday at Caffe Abbracci. The duo was joined by another couple. Iglesias, who hasn't been seen around town for a while, posed for pictures, signed autographs and said hi to fans in between bites of his Veal Milanese. There earlier that day having lunch was retired baseball catcher Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez, with friends and, says our spy, “clearly enjoying retirement and celebrating the good life.”
Campton Yard, celebrity chef Spike Mendelsohn’s recently opened backyard hangout at The Hall, 1500 Collins Ave., is channeling its collegiate alter ego with a bi-weekly beer pong league. The matches take place every other Thursday, with the next game at 7 p.m. Thursday, featuring shot opportunities by Mendelsohn himself. Participation is free of charge and teams are able to reserve their spot on a table on a first come, first serve basis. The league will run on a points system, giving those who attend most frequently the best chance at victory.
Italian soccer player Alessandro Matri was seen having dinner with friends Thursday at Dolce Italian at The Gale South Beach. Before the meal, the Lazio teammate and pals were spotted enjoying drinks on The Rooftop at The Gale.
