‘Dynasty’ star Joan Collins glams it up at Komodo

Joan Collins, in town for the opening of Roberto Coin’s Design District store, was seen having dinner with friends Wednesday at David Grutman’s Brickell-area hot spot, Komodo. On Saturday, Collins and husband Percy Gibson had dinner at Bagatelle. Collins, looking very Dynasty, wore a black-and-white dress with a white hat. Also spotted at Bagatelle was retired French soccer player Patrick Vieira, party of eight.

Lea DeLaria, actress, comedian and jazz musician best known for her role as "Big Boo" in the Netflix series Orange is the New Black, was in town for a show at the Parker Playhouse, Instagrammed her swanky dinner Thursday at The Villa Casa Casuarina, making fun of Oprah’s Weight Watchers commercial about bread. On Friday, DeLaria, in a fedora and blue button down, and her fiancée Chelsea Fairless were at the Sugar Factory American Brasserie, sitting at the bar and enjoying the signature Lollipop Passion goblet and appetizers including the Mac & Cheese Pops. Afterward, they visited the candy shop where they were spotted with a candy bag filled with Sour Patch Kids and gummy worms. They were said to be extremely friendly, taking pictures with fans.

Three-time NBA champion and current assistant coach for the Los Angeles Clippers Sam Cassell was seen Thursday at Anatomy at 1220. where he worked out and chatted with fellow members and staff.

Grizzlies Point Guard Michael Conley was seen dining al fresco with a “lady friend” Thursday at Meat Market. Stephen Baldwin, whose daughter Hailey is rumored to be dating Justin Bieber, took a break from all of the commotion Friday to enjoy dinner with friends on the patio there.

Fresh off a Super Bowl victory, Denver Broncos cornerback Kayvon Webster was spotted celebrating the big win Thursday at Story. Across from Webster were hip-hop heavyweights Wiz Khalifa and Rick Ross, who both gave “an epic performance” and sipped champagne until around 4 a.m.

Sacramento Kings player Rudy Gay was seen partying it up with friends Saturday at Rockwell. Gay was reportedly hanging in the DJ booth for part of the night. Other athletes eyeballed in the club included Indiana Pacers stars Chris Copeland and Solomon Hill as well as Miami Marlins player Giancarlo Stanton.

While in Miami Beach working on his anticipated pop-up restaurant at Faena, Michelin-starred and James Beach-award-winning chef of Chicago’s Alinea, Grant Achatz, celebrated Valentine's Day with his girlfriend Briseis Guthrie and two children at SoFi hot spot Izzy’s Fish & Oyster. The duo drank champagne and noshed on the warm Lobster Roll, Parker Rolls and whoopie pies among other dishes for the table. Following the meal, Achatz even shared his experience on instagram stating “Great meal at @izzyscrew tonight. Nice throwback to the northeast for @briseistdg thank you @jamiederosa…”
