Boxer Floyd Mayweather shoots hoops at JW Marriott Marquis

Boxer Floyd Mayweather arrived unannounced Sunday night at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami. With no less than 20 friends and associates in tow, the group played a few games of basketball well into the evening inside the hotel’s NBA-approved indoor basketball court.

Brothers Khalif and Aaquil Brown, better known as hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd, were spotted Wednesday at FDR at the Delano. The No Type artists danced with friends as they sipped cognac and tequila. Also seen there: San Antonio Spurs small forward Kawhi Leonard.

San Antonio Spurs players Manu Genobili and Boris Diaw had lunch Monday at db Bistro Moderne before losing to the Miami Heat.

Straight Outta Compton’s Marcc Rose was spotted Wednesday in Overtown, encouraging the students at Urgent Inc. and the Overtown Youth Center. He’s back to L.A. after the Revolt Music Conference to resume working on the new Tupac biopic with director John Singleton.

Retired baller and assistant Miami Heat coach Juwan Howard and his wife Jenine are throwing the Fifth Annual Fashion for a Cause; A Kid’s Fashion Show from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Moore Building, 4040 N. Second Ave. The show will be hosted by Aisha Hinds, star of True Blood, Beyond the Lights and Under the Dome, and Mo McRae, who has been seen on Empire and Sons of Anarchy. The event will feature healthy food booths, fun and games for the kids, a fashion show by Macy’s featuring the University of Miami Sylvester superstar oncology patients and the Miami Heat players.
