Saturday night’s 20th anniversary edition of the InterContinental Miami Make-A-Wish Ball featured 900 well-heeled types, but none as stellar as 70-year-old headliner Diana Ross, who performed a slew of her hits including The Boss, Upside Down and Ain’t No Mountain High Enough. In true Miss Ross form, she halted her performance to snatch the phone of an audience member flashing away with her cellphone, saying, “Darling, I can’t see with that flash.” Ross disarmed the flash and returned the phone to the stunned snapper.
Benicio Del Toro visited Miami over the weekend, stopping to spend Halloween night at E11even Miami, where he spent the night hanging out and doing shots of Don Julio 1942 with a group of friends. Del Toro was spotted earlier Friday at Zuma and had a three hour dinner with an unidentified woman Saturday at Restaurant Michael Schwartz at The Raleigh.
Drake was seen Saturday, dining in the wine room at Prime 112. Also there separately was Alex Rodriguez.
Model Kate Upton was spotted Saturday at Bianca at the Delano. Upton, who wore a long white dress, was with her boyfriend, Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander. On Sunday, Upton and Verlander were seen supping there with Micky Arison.

Gabrielle Union celebrated her 42nd birthday Thursday at the Cabaret South Beach, pulling up in a black limousine bus with her hubby Dwyane Wade and a group of 12 friends. They sang along with the performers, enjoying the live music from a front table near the stage and tipping $100 bills to the piano player, performers and servers.
