The ads said it best. The “Crazy Horse Has Gone Mad” party featured an unlikely strip club hostess: Mama June of Honey Boo Boo infamy. And while the crowd wasn’t exactly overflowing Saturday night in Pompano Beach, a good number of people — mostly women — paid to see the reality TV star who fortunately kept her clothes on, posed for pictures with fans and even autographed some of their bare stomachs. The 35-year-old mother and grandmother was said to have been paid around $5,500 to fly in and show her face — a somewhat svelter one than we’ve seen on TV after she lost 50 pounds (which didn’t stop her from ordering steak and lobster mac and cheese). We asked June, no stranger to a shady dating track record, if she had any parenting tips (she reunited with a man who did prison time for molesting her daughter Anna). She laughed and said, “They don’t come with instruction manuals.” Neither does reality stardom, but she seems to be following a manual of her own and laughing all the way to the bank.
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has been eating his way through a bachelor party weekend in Miami, eating at places like Prime 112, where on Friday night he was seen shooting the you-know-what with actor Miles Teller, who was there with his model girlfriend. Also at the sceney steakhouse Friday: the cast of the currently filming Alvin and the Chipmunks: Road Chip — actress and Pembroke Pines native Bella Thorne, actor Jason Lee, Kimberly Williams Paisley minus country singer hubby Brad and Arrested Development actor Tony Hale.
Romo was also seen Saturday at Siena Tavern where he and about a “dozen friends” had a field day eating and drinking. There, Romo “kicked back and drank Grey Goose with a splash of water all night and ordered a few rounds of Don Julio & 1942 shots with his friends,” says our spy, who added that they also “had a ton of food.” Romo was clearly having a ball, and rumors say that he even asked if he could DJ after the crowds left. But since his party stayed so long, they had to catch their ride for their next stop in the night. He was a very generous tipper to Siena’s staff and took a bunch of pictures before he left.
Jewel had dinner Friday at Seaspice with Miami entrepreneur Sean Wolfington and his wife, who all arrived at the Miami River hot spot by boat.
